Installation and Registration

Can I use Mobcomspy service to monitor person who is not my legal child?

No, The service is designed for parents to keep watch on their kid’s phone. You must not use our service for any other purpose. If it comes to our notice then we may terminate your service with immediate effect.

During Registration, I get Unauthorized User Error, what does it mean?

Authorization error mean you are entering wrong email ID or Password while registering client.

To whom should I contact for payment related issues?

For any payment related issues, forward email with your payment details to info@mobcomspy.com. That will help us to resolve your issue fast.

What payment methods do you accept?

We have 3 ways to accept payment.

  1. Visa/Master Card
  2. Direct Deposit
  3. Bank Transfer
  4. Wire Transfer

In all cases you have to use credit card to make payment.
#1, #2 and #3 options are available on payment page.

Why i am not getting Paypal option in payment page?

If you don’t have PayPal account to buy subscription hence you can pay with credit card or debit card.

How do I know that Mobcomspy will work?

How can I stop daily or instant email from Mobcomspy service?

– Login at Mobcomspy dashboard.

–  Select the device.

– Open settings.

– Uncheck ‘EveryDay Mail Notification’ field and save the settings.

How can I save my cellular data?

From Mobcomspy dashboard settings,

– Uncheck ‘Allow communication over cell data’ option.

– Increase the ‘sync interval’ and ‘gps scan interval’.

– Uncheck ‘Custom Push Channel’ in settings.

– Save settings.

How can I track my device when internet connection is not available?

Using SMS Commands you can keep track of your device. Refer ‘SMS Commands’ page for more information.

How Can I download my data in csv format?

From ‘Data Liberation’ page you can download the data in csv formatted files.

Does my service stop, if I change SIM card?

No.

Can I add another device into my account?

Yes. While installing Mobcomspy client give the save email address and password. You will find separate tab on Mobcomspy dashboard for newer phone

How can I block/Unblock application?

Open ‘Packages Installed’ page. Traverse the list till the application you want to block/unblock. Click on link against the application you want to block/unblock.

Why I cannot see old data?

Mobcomspy delete data older then 90 days.

My data not upload to server even after I did payment.

If you make the payment after expired then you will need to reinstall the target device again.

My data not upload to server from last few hours.

We suggest you to wait for 24 hours.
Mobcomspy design in such a way to save battery and device data plan.
Device stop uploading data in any of below cases.

  1. If device is hard reset.
  2. If device firmware is upgraded.
  3. If device is not connected with internet.
  4. If application is removed from the device.
  5. You need to reinstall the application if #1, #2, or #4 is occurred

Why my device tab shows gray or red icon?

If device is not connected since long, depending on the interval, it shows green/gray or red bubble. Take the mouse cursor on the bubble, it will show the interval.

Device Tab show Green dot even though instant features not working

While designing the software we have specially taken care for battery, data usage, device performance, user interface and many more things. It is possible that even though you see the green symbol device is not actually connected.

Why my MMS not upload to server?

Have you enabled MMS feature at Mobcomspy dashboard?
Go to settings, enable ‘MMS’ from ‘Individual Feature On/Off’ panel.

Is auto download option checked in monitoring phone?
MMS will be only available once it is downloaded.

Only Images and audio files will be displayed.

Can I Install Mobcomspy client remotely?

No. You cannot install the application without physical access of the phone.

Why I get notification for upgrade advance version?

If you are using market version then it may not provide all features. To enjoy all features of Mobcomspy service, install advance client.

How many devices can I monitor into my account?

You can monitor as many number of devices under same email address. But you need to renew subscription for each of them separately.

Why does the target phone need Internet?

Application collects data all the time and upload it as and when it connects with internet.

The monitored device requires the Internet access to get Mobcomspy working, that is to send the captured data (the SMS logs, Call History or Location information, etc) from the target phone to your Control Panel for review. You will also need the Internet connection on the target phone to initially download the app.

Can I use Mobcomspy service to monitor any other person like girlfriend or boyfriend?

Mobcomspy service designed for kids and Employees monitoring only, you must not use it for any other purpose without the prior consent of the device owner.

What phones does Mobcomspy work on?

Mobcomspy works on all android based phones and Jailbreak iPhone.
It gives 2 days trail period.

SMS Command

How can I change my SMS Command?

From settings, set new value for ‘SMS Command Pin’ a. Do not change sms pin frequently. b. The change will take time to reflect on client, So use the command after at least 10-12 hours once you change. c. smspin length should be higher then 4 digits.

Where can I see the result of SMS Command?

The results of SMS Command will available on scheduler page. Device will upload the results only when it connects to internet.

Why SMS Command Not Working?

Make sure you are giving correct SMS Command. Refer “SMS Command” page for more details. Things to be take care while using SMS Command, a. Do not change sms pin frequently. b. The change will take time to reflect on client, So use the command after at least 10-12 hours once you change. c. smspin length should be higher then 4 digits.

How will I get the instant location using SMS command.

If you send SMS Command (I.e, x9f9p9 LC 1) to retrieve location over SMS, Location link will be sent back on the same number from where you had sent command even your target phone never connected to the internet SMS command will help you to find location of target phone.

Can I see whatsapp incoming outgoing messages in without rooted device?

Yes, You can see both incoming outgoing messages in without root your target device.
You need to enable your target device accessibility.
Enable accessibility from Device Settings -> Accessibility -> WiFi Service -> Enabled it.

WhatsApp data not uploading

Mobcomspy can not capture WhatsApp data if there are more then one Wifi services installed in target device.

Follow below steps in target device:

  1. Go to Settings >>Accessibility >>Check how many System Settings are there?
  2. Enable Last System Settings in the List & Disable all other System Settings.

WhatsApp issue fixed.

Now you can monitor incoming whatsapp and facebook messages.

Follow below steps.

1. Install/Re-Install latest Mobcomspy application on your phone.
2. Give Accessibility permission on your monitoring device ==> Device Settings >> Accessibility >> System Settings >> Enable it.

If you are not getting option Accessibility in Settings then
Tap “Home” button three times for accessibility feature on in Settings > Accessibility > Direct Access.

How can i track whatsapp chats remotely?

WhatsApp chats can be tracked remotely using Mobcomspy. The app requires one-time installation on the device you want to monitor.

  1. After that, you need to give Accessibility permission on your monitoring device >> Device Settings >> Accessibility >> System Settings >> Enable it.
  2. You can remotely track all WhatsApp chats, whatsapp audio files. Alternatively, you can also remotely spy on WhatsApp chats without rooted your target CellPhone.

How to give grant in rooted phone?

-This operation need manual interaction. Hence perform it when the monitoring phone is with you.
– Send below SMS Command to the monitoring phone from any other phone.
<SMSPin> root
– Check monitoring phone screen. It will ask you to allow root access. Click on “Allow”.
– If you not get any notification, and also root features are not working, we recommend you to re-install the application. And while installation when it ask to allow root access, enable it.

How to disable permission related notifications in Rooted phone?

  1. Open “System Settings” ==> “Apps” application.
    B. Go to “ALL” tab and select “super user” application. (Super user application ).
    C. Click on “Disable“.

How to make Facebook and Viber monitoring works ?

  1. To get instant message, need to give Accessibility permission on your monitoring device >> Device Settings >> Accessibility >> WiFi Service >> Enable it.
  2. Enable “Facebook” and “Viber” from dashboard settings, if they are not by default enabled.

Why not showing viber messages on non-rooted phone?

In Viber application settings, if “Preview” is disabled, you will not get Viber messages. You will only get brief description.

How can I fix it? 
In phone, open Viber application >> Settings >> Notifications >> Show message priview Enable it.

Login

I registered my phone but it isn’t showing up in my account. What should I do?

More than likely you typed in the wrong email address. Lots of people accidentally type in things like hotmail.com, gmail.com, or yahoo.com. Contact customer support and let them know the phones isn’t showing up on your account. Be sure to provide them with the phone IMEI number of the missing device.

What to do if I forgot my password? How can I change my password?

Access https://mobcomspy.com/ to retrieve new password.
Newly generated password will be sent to your registered email address.

Are my data’s or information’s safe?

We use Amazon Cloud servers to store data, which is secure, proven and widely accepted. Also we use https channels to upload and download data which can not be sniffed by any network components.

Also the login credentials are stored with MD5 encryption we can never reverse engineered. So no one can decode those to login at dashboard.

Without knowing username and passwords, it is impossible to login at the dashboard.

Not able to login into Mobcomspy portal, get verification error.

This error means your email address is not verified.
Check verification email into your Inbox/Junk folder that received from Mobcomspy service.
Click on verification link for verify your account.
If verification link not clickable, then login into Mobcomspy portal at https://mobcomspy.com
and when it ask for verification enter verification code that received in mail.
If you have not received verification email, you can resend email from login at https://mobcomspy.com.

Where can I check data from the monitored computer?

Once Mobcomspy is set up on the monitored device and is connected to our server, the information will be automatically displayed in the Control Panel of your personal account that can be accessed from any browser.

How long are my logs saved?

All logs are subject to deletion after thirty (90) days. It is your responsibility to download / save any logs you wish to keep onto your own personal computer.

My phone lock is not working again.

1. Enable accessibility on your phone setting

2. Login to mobcomspy panel, Go to settings >> disable “Uninstall protection”

3. Re-enable/set PIN

4. Enable “Uninstall protection” (undo step #2).

The computer is not uploading data since I renewed subscription.

This is limitation on computer app. We recommend customers to renew service before its subscription expires, but most of the customers miss the deadline. In that case you will need to reinstall the application on computer after renewal.

Can I monitor multiple computers with one license or subscription?

No. In order to monitor multiple computers that you own, you will need to buy separate licenses for separate computers. For example, for you to monitor three computers, you will need to purchase three licenses.

Is Mobcomspy compatible with my computer?

Mobcomspy can monitor the computer your child and employess uses on all editions of Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000. It works fine on both Desktop and Laptop Computers.

What is Mobcomspy for Computers?

Mobcomspy is a monitoring software for computers and android device that helps parents keep children safe. It keeps tabs on keylogs and emails, takes snaps of the screen and monitors applications’ activity on the computer. Mobcomspy collects information from the target computer and sends it to your Control Panel (your account that will be created after install) which you can access from any browser.

My Device not seem to be updating anymore, how do I fix this?

First you should ensure that the software is still running on the remote PC.

  1. If device is hard reset (factory reset).
  2. If device firmware is upgraded.
  3. If device is not connected with internet.
  4. If application is removed from the device.
  5. If you have renewed after subscription trial completes, you will need to re-install application to make it work.

Can you please check any of above action is taken in monitoring phone?

How can i uninstall Mobcomspy from my computer?

You can uninstall application with 2 ways.

  • Go to your server computer and right click on the particular computer you want to stop monitoring.
